ViaDuct's revolutionary design utilizes a winged perimeter, which channels fluids along the outside of the stent, rather than through a conventional central lumen. As a result, fluids move efficiently and effectively.

It's effective.
Conventional pancreatic stents use a central lumen and small side holes to provide drainage through the inside of the stent. That design, however, does not adequately allow fluid exchange through the many secondary ducts which connect with the main pancreatic duct. ViaDuct, by channeling fluids on the stent's exterior, minimizes any blockage of secondary pancreatic ducts.
